VETERAN Registration Information

Welcome Back Veteran Swappers!!!

OK- here's the knitty-gritty details:

MANADATORY Stalking period: through April 26th. - no packages can be sent till after the stalking period

All packages MUST be sent on or before May 23rd.

Minimum package value = $35

Must include 2-3 skeins of Malabrigo (No more than 3 skeins)

Yarn may be stash yarn- if it is what your partner would like, and is good condition (i.e. not frogged & re-wound, etc).

The swap is about creating a personal, creative package for another Malabrigo Lover. Often those creative, personal touches mean the most to the person receiving the package!

You are required to complete the weekly check in, they will be posted on Friday morning, and you have till Monday evening to respond to them. If you do not respond to the thread, you will be contacted by your moderator.

You are required to answer all of the Question threads (posted about twice a week). Again, if you do not post within 3 days, you will be contacted by your moderator. If you do not respond to your Moderator within 2 days, you will be given warning, if you do not respond within 3 days to the warning, you will be removed from the swap. We expect people to be checking the swap board frequently (every other day), so you shouldn't have this problem.

If you are no posting your responses, and you are not responding to Moderator PMs or Emails, we will expect that you have left the swap, and you will be unable to participate in the future.

If you are going on vacation/will be offline for a period of time during the swap, please let one of the moderators know ASAP. This will allow us to let your partner know why you aren't posting.

If for some reason, you are unable to complete the swap, please let one of the moderators know ASAP- this will allow us to re-assign your partner. We understand that things happen, cars break, furnaces go out, people loose their jobs. Let us know, cause we'd rather have you back after things have gotten settled, than have to add you to the Naughty Swapper List because you didn't follow through.
